A new hairdo

Tarkoitukseni on ollut tehdä nukelle uusi hame, mutta kankaan valinta ja puvun leikkauksen päättäminen ovat venyttäneet projektia jo pidemmän aikaan. Edistystä on tapahtunut sen verran että sain vihdoinkin yläosan kaavan tehtyä, nyt enää on jäljellä alaosa (luulisi olevan helppo homma) ja lopullisen kankaan valinta.

I've been meaning to make a new dress for my doll. But choosing the fabric and the style of the cut for the dress has made the project stand still for a long time. Finally I've got the pattern for the bust made, now I only need to make the pattern for the skirt (should be easy) and deciding the fabric.


Sillä aikaa kun nukke odottaa vaatetustaan päädyin tekemään sille uuden kampauksen. Avasin nuken hiukset vanhalta lettinutturalta ja uudelleen liimasin ne haluamallani ja regency aikakauteen sopivalla tavalla.

In the mean time I ended up redoing the dolls hair. I undid the old hair do and reglued it the way I wanted and was proper for the regency period.
